Ar-We-Va trailed most of the game, but kept giving themselves a chance before finally taking the lead late. Ridge View responded, outshooting the Rockets from beyond the arc, hitting 11 compared to 5 for the Rockets. The Raptors grabbed the lead back quickly, then held on hitting just enough free throws to hold off the Rockets. Every time Ar-We-Va made a run in the first-three quarters the Raptors would hit a three and extend the lead, keeping it around 8-10 most of the game.
Emmett Neumann started quickly for the Rockets, putting them up 3-0 with a bucket and a free throw. Ridge View responded, scoring the next 12 points before Harley Molina hit a pair of free throws. An Emmett Neumann bucket, pulled the Rockets within 12-7 but Ridge View scored 7 in a row to lead 19-7. Kyelar Cleveland broke the run and after Ridge View scored again to lead 21-9. Emmett Neumann scored a bucket, followed by a basket for Blayne Smith and a pair of free throws from Kyelar Cleveland. Ar-We-Va was down 21-16 early in the 2nd quarter. They kept it going after a Raptor bucket made it 23-16, Ar-We-Va scored five in a row with Blayne Smith hitting a pair of free throws and Harley Molina draining a three. The Rockets were down 2,but Ridge View took control again, using an 8-0 run, they led 31-21. Ar-We-Va fought back again, getting a bucket from Wyatt Ragaller and free throws from Blayne Smith and Harley Molina. The Rockets trailed 31-27 at half.
Ridge View scored the first-four points of the 2nd half, but Ar-We-Va got two buckets and a free throw from Wyatt Ragaller, pulling within 38-32. Emmett Neumann scored to keep them within seven. The Raptors went back up 10, but Wade Ragaller scored for the Rocketes, then Harley Molina hit a three, Wyatt Ragaller scored a bucket and Blayne Smith added a pair of free throws, pulling Ar-We-Va within 47-44. Ridge View drained another three, but this time the Rockets answered immediately. Kyelar Cleveland scored and Wade Ragaller drained a three. Ar-We-Va was within 1. Cleveland scored to put Ar-We-Va up 51-50, their first lead since 3-0 but Ridge View quickly scored inside on the other end, going back up 52-51. They extended the lead to 57-51 but Ar-We-Va fought back again. Harley Molina drained a three, Wyatt Ragaller hit a pair of free throws and the Rockets were down 1 again. The Raptors extended the lead back to 5 but Wade Ragaller drained a three, making it 61-59 with 14 seconds remaining. The Raptors hit a pair of free throws to salt the game away.
The Rockets were balanced scoring with Harley Molina leading the way with 13 points, Wyatt Ragaller added 11 points, Emmett Nuemann, Blayne Smith and Kyelar Cleveland all had 9 points and Wade Ragaller finished with 8 points. Harley Molina added 3 steals, Wyatt Ragaller had 6 rebounds, Emmett Nuemann finished with 10 rebounds and 2 blocks, Blayne Smith added 5 rebounds and 5 steals and Kyelar Cleveland added 9 rebounds.
The loss drops Ar-We-Va to 4-9 overall. They host Woodbine on Tuesday.

South Central Calhoun dropped their second straight, falling to 10-3 overall, but more importantly suffering their second loss in the conference, putting them 2 games behind Sioux Central and a game behind Newell Fonda. They are tied with Emmetsburg for 3rd in the Twin Lakes Conference. They are a half game up on GTRA and Manson NW Webster and lead West Bend Mallard by a full game in a tight conference race.
The Titans led by 2 after the 1st quarter, but were outscored 20-10 in the 2nd quarter. They battled back in the 3rd, putting up 23 points, pulling within 52-51. Emmetsburg took over in the 4th, holding the Titans to 9 points, extending their lead to double digits. South Central Calhoun shot 42.1% from the field but were 3-7 from the free throw line and hit 9-28 from three. They had 11 steals along with 10 assists on 24 made baskets.
Tyler Lightner had a game high 21 points along with 5 steals. Eli Wheelock added 13 points and 5 rebounds. Andrew Anderson added 10 points and Gavin Batta finished with 8 points and 6 rebounds. Keegan Soard finished with 8 rebounds.
The Titans are 5-2 in the Twin Lakes Conference heading into Tuesday’s home game with West Bend Mallard.

The game was closer than the final score indicates as the Wolves were never outscored in a quarter but more than 5 points but after grabbing an early lead, the Wolves were never able to tie the game again. Underwood knocked down 14 shots from three point range, hitting 14-29 as they slowly pulled away. The Eagles were up by 5 at the end of the 1st quarter and 9 at half. The lead grew late in the 4th quarter to 17. IKM-Manning led early 6-3 and 7-5.
The Wolves were balanced on offense with Cooper Irlmeier, Reed Hinners and Ben Ramsey all scoring 8 points, Ross Kusel and Caden Keller both had 7 points and Lane Sams finished with 6 points. Hinners added 6 rebounds, Sams had 5 rebounds and Keller pulled down 6 rebounds.
The loss dropped the Wolves to 9-6 overall and 6-5 in the Western Iowa Conference. They head to OA-BCIG for a non-conference matchup on Tuesday.

Audubon snapped a four game losing streak with a dominating 2nd half, rallying from down 10 at half to pull away for a double-digit win. The Wheelers got the offense rolling in the 3rd quarter, scoring 26-points, then cranked up the defense in the 4th quarter, holding Boyer Valley to 7-points. Audubon scored 45 points in the 2nd half after scoring 26 in the 1st half. They matched that in the 3rd quarter alone.
Audubon had three guys in double figures with Collin Bauer leading the way with 24 points, Edward Miller scored 18 points and Carson Bauer added 16 points.
The win improves them to 5-11 overall. Audubon hosts Riverside on Tuesday.

Coon Rapids Bayard nearly recovered from a disastrous 3rd quarter, but fell short on the road Monday. The Crusaders had 15 turnovers in the game, hurting themselves with a number of them in the 3rd quarter, scoring 2-points to trail 34-24 heading to the 4th quarter. The Bulldogs t0ok advantage of the Crusaders miscues, with 10 steals. Coon Rapids Bayard was tied with the Bulldogs at the end of the 1st quarter, then trailed by 1, 23-22 at half. Ogden scored 11 points in the 3rd quarter. Coon Rapids Bayard shot 35.7% from the field, hitting 3-18 from beyond the arc. They only attempted 6 free throws, hitting 4. Ogden won the rebound battle 31-25.
Cal Heydon had a nifty double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Lance Clayburg pulled down 8 rebounds and lead the team with 4 assists. Cade Behrens added 7 points.

Glidden Ralston ran into a buzz saw in top ranked Grand View Christian on Monday night. The Wildcats were able to score pretty well in the 1st half, scoring 12 points in the 1st quarter and 14 in the 2nd quarter. They struggled from the field in the 2nd half. Grand View Christian averages nearly 80 points per game and were able to click on the offensive end, leading 50-26 at half, then scoring 32-points in the 3rd quarter.
Emmett Snyder, Jonathan Bergmeier and Colby Wallace all had 7 for the Wildcats. Ethan Olberding added 6 points.
