Boys Wrestling Results Saturday, January 21st

Carroll, Audubon and East Sac At Herb Irgens At OA-BCIG

Carroll followed up a really strong day one with a better second day. The Tigers moved up to 3rd with 171 points, pulling away from Tonganoxie, who they were tied with and West Hancock who had been in 3rd after day one. The Tigers went 20-9 in matches wrestled on Saturday, taking three championships, two 2nd place finishes and a 3rd. Carroll had 8 wins by fall, a major decision, a sudden victory and 1o wins by decision. East Sac had five wrestlers compete on Saturday, going 5-8 in matches wrestled. They won 2 matches by fall, 2 by decision and one by major decision. East Sac finished 18th overall with 38 points. Audubon finished Saturday in 23rd place with 14 points. The Wheelers were 3-3 with two wrestlers going on Saturday. They had 2 wins by fall and a decision.
