Boys Wrestling Results for Friday, December 9th

South Central Calhoun at MVAOCOU Tournament

The South Central Calhoun Titans competed in the MVAOCOU tournament Friday and took home some top-three finishes. South Central Calhoun finished seventh as a team overall with 100 points. West Monona was the eventual meet winner with 207 points.

Brock Nattress and Kolin Folsom finished up the meet with the two best finishes for the Titans. Nattress finished first at 145 pounds going 3-0 on the day. He’d win two matches via fall at 2:32 and 1:43 and his championship match via tech fall. Folsom finished second in his weight class at 120 pounds going 2-1. He’d win his first two matches of the day via fall at 0:50 and 0:45, but fell in the first place match via fall late at 3:28. Two other top-five finishes on the day include Levi Evanoski at 170 pounds finishing fourth going 3-1 with wins via fall at 1:17, 0:25, and winning the third-place match at 1:41. David Melody at 195 pounds finished fourth with a 1-1 record, recording a win via fall at 2:00.
