The Carroll Tigers were able to pick up some nice times against Sioux City North but fell short of winning the meet. The Stars were able to win the meet as a team with 73 points compared to Carroll’s 21.
The Tigers, though, came away with some nice finishes. Emma Myers was able to win both her individual events. She won the 50 free with a time of 25.56 and the 100 breaststroke with a final time of 1:09.58. Myers also picked up two second place finishes in the 200-medley relay and 200 free relay. Along with Hailey Burns, Natalie Kent, and Amelia Holt, they finished second in the 200-medley relay in a time of 2:02.71. Holt, Myers, Burns, and Zelda DeMoss in the 200 free relay got second with a time of 1:49.32. Burns also got a second-place finish in the 200 IM with a time of 2:37.08. The Tigers will compete on Saturday, October 15th when they compete in the Lewis Central Invitational.
