IKM-Manning falls to 0-3 overall and 0-2 in Class A District 8, falling on the road for the second time this season. The Wolves trailed 6-0 after the 1st quarter and were down 20-0 at half. Offensively the Wolves ran for 101 yards on 30 carries with Cooper Irlmeier leading the way with 36 yards on 12 carries. Ben Langel added 10 carries with 21 yards and Trey Jasa had 17 yards on 3 carries. Ben Ramsey and Ross Kusel combined for 48 yards, hitting four different receivers, led by Davis Ramussen catching 1 pass for 25 yards. The Wolves allowed 185 yards on the ground as Woodbury Central averaged 4.7 yards per carry. Drew Kluender threw the ball 26 times for 273 yards with 4 touchdowns. His leading target was Will DeStigter, who caught 6 passes for 103 yards and a touchdown. Eric McGill added 2 touchdowns on 4 catches and 90 yards.

Eli Dreyer had an interception for the Wolves defense, returning it 10 yards. That was the lone turnover created IKM-Manning as both teams finished with a turnover. Nolan Kerkhoff had a team high 6.5 tackles, Dreyer had 6 tackles with Trey Jasa, Davis Rasmussen and Cooper Perdew all having 5.5 tackles. Ben Ramsey and Ben Langel each had a tackle for loss. Lane Sams punted the ball 7 times.

The Wolves return home Friday to host 0-3 Missouri Valley.
