Kuemper closes out the regular season, picking up their first win of the season in a seesaw win against Atlantic. The Knights took a 1-0 lead in the 1st half but was tied at 1-1 at half. The Trojans came out firing in the 2nd half, taking a 2-1 lead. Kuemper quickly responded with a pair of goals to lead 3-2. Atlantic responded with a goal to tie it at 3 but Kuemper had the last laugh picking up a goal to win 4-3.
Nate Overmohle scored a pair of goals and Jace Pruitt made 4 saves.
The Knights head to Western Christian on Thursday for first round of sectionals.

Carroll had some chances to score in the 1st half but missed opportunities by both teams left it scoreless at half. Underwood broke through first in the 2nd half scoring at 30:47 to go up 1-0. That goal gave them the momentum, leading to three more goals over the next twelve minutes. The Tigers tried to battle back with Clayton Weitl scoring a goal at 5:12 but that would be as close as the Tigers would get.
Weitl scored the Tigers only goal and led them with 4 shots on goal, Chrsitian Best had 3 shots on goal and Trey Hunter finished with 2 shots on goal as Carroll took 10 shots on goal. Tanner Heithoff finished with 16 saves.
The Tigers end the regular season at 3-11 and will head to Glenwood for first round sectionals on Thursday.
