Kuemper had a nice follow up to their first ever Hawkeye 10 Conference Championship by cruising to an 8-1 win over Sioux City North as they wrap up the regular season 10-0. The Knights swept singles play winning 48 games and losing only 12. Samantha Tidgren continues to play extremely well as the number one in singles, winning her match 8-1. Keziah Janssen has also been very strong in the number six spot and also won 8-1. Jordan Schwabe and Ella Schwarte won their matches 8-2 and Alyssa Brant and Sophie Rohe picked up 8-3 wins. Kuemper took two of three matches in doubles. Alyssa Brant and Sophie Rohe teamed up for a convincing 8-3 win. They dropped the first game, before taking command. Samantha Tidgren teamed up with her sistter Sophie Tidgren for a hard fought 9-8 (2) win that clinched the win in doubles matches. Morgan Muhlbauer and Ayak Dut teamed up for the third match and fell 8-1. The Knights went 18-19 in games in doubles.
Kuemper heads to Atlantic on Wednesday for girls individual regionals.
