The Hawkeye 10 champion Kuemper Knights had another dominant day on the courts as they hosted Denison Schleswig and swept all their matches. In singles, the Knights only dropped five sets and four in doubles to round out great performances overall. Alyssa Brant, Jordan Schwabe, and Sophie Rohe won their singles matches without dropping a set, winning 8-0. Ella Schwarte only dropped one set to Lyanne Johnson winning 8-1, while Samantha Tidgren and Keziah Janssen performed well, only dropping two sets in their singles matches.
Brant and Rohe continued their dominant days with another dominant performance in doubles, winning 8-0 over Abigail Gutierrez and Emma Ahrenholtz. Schwarte and Janssen saw similar success in their match where they won 8-1. Tidgren and Schwabe had some pushback from Hailey Meseck and Kiana Schulz in doubles, but they got the job done with an 8-3 win.
The Knights are back in action on Tuesday, May 10th when they host Sioux City North.

The Audubon Wheelers went up against a tough Clarinda squad Thursday afternoon in Audubon. Despite not winning a match, they had some great playing in singles and doubles, including winning 11 sets in singles and 14 sets in doubles.
Kya Petersen had a great performance against Brooke Brown from Clarinda, getting close to victory but falling short by a score of 8-6. Gery Anderson was able to take two sets from Paige Barr but fell 8-2. In doubles, Petersen teamed up with Audrey Jensen where they played well, taking four sets against Avery Walter and Brooke Brown in an 8-4 loss. Anderson and Joselynne Moreno had the best match of the day for the Wheelers by going to a tiebreaker. They held the duo from Clarinda well, but ultimately lost the tiebreaker 8-6.
