Kuemper fell to Denison Schleswig, picking up a win in singles play by Hans Kraus. The Knights went 28-58 in games in singles and 1-5 in matches while going 0-3 in doubles in matches and 17-30 in games. The Monarchs were coming off a conference tournament championship earlier this week in Red Oak.
Hans Kraus fought his way to a 10-8 win in singles for the Knights lone win though they competed well in several matches with Sam Janssen and Jared Hausman both falling 10-5. Jared Hausman and Max Reincke nearly picked up a win in their doubles match, falling 10-8. Josh Langel and Hans Kraus also played well in doubles, falling 10-7.
The Knights head to Lewis Central on Friday.

Audubon picked up a win in doubles but fell on the road to Clarinda 8-1. The Wheelers finished singles 2-40 in games but played well in doubles. Eli Deist and Connor Christensen won their doubles match 8-4 while Sawyer McClain-Toft and Isaac Jackson fell 8-5. The Wheelers finished 9-16 in games in doubles.
The Wheelers match vs Harlan on Friday was canceled.
