Brincks Exteriors Sports Report: Kylie Powers Claims Title, WIC and TLC Girls Tournaments Held Wednesday

Girls Golf Results Wednesday, May 4th 

Audubon and IKM-Manning Girls At Western Iowa Conference Tournament At Nishna Hills

Kylie Powers of IKM-Manning continued to shine on the golf course, winning the Western Iowa Conference Tournament Championship with a 88, beating Brooklyn Currin of Treynor by 2 strokes. Powers and her teammates finished in 3rd overall. Kali Irlmeier had another terrific outing for Audubon finishing in 3rd place with a 97. Irlmeier and Audubon were in 4th place. Th e Wolves shot a 427 with Audubon a 446. Treynor won the team title with a 400 and LoMa was 2nd with a 420.

Powers shot a 88 on the day, shooting 45 on the front and closing with a 43. She finished with 5-4’s on the front and 4-4’s on the back. Kali Irlmeier led the Wheelers with a 97. Irlmeier shot 45-52 with a 3 and 3-4’s on the front and a 4 on the back. Sienna Albertsen of Audubon added a 109 (52-57) with a 4 on the front. Brooke Booth finished with a 108 for the Wolves with a 51-57, having a 4 on both the front and back. Maeve Nielsen shot 114 for IKM-Manning with a 4 on the front and 2-4’s on the back. Bailee Germer had the final score for IKM-Manning team scores, finishing with a 117 (58-59). Germer had a 4 on the front and back. Allison Elmquist shot a 115 for Audubon with a 54-61 with a 3 and a 4 on the front and Kacie Anthofer added a 125 (56-69) for the Wheelers, with a 4 on the back nine.

East Sac and South Central Calhoun At Twin Lakes Conference At Lakeside Municipal 

South Central Calhoun and East Sac battled for 8th place at the Twin Lakes Conference Tournament at Lakeside Municipal on Wednesday with the Titans edging the Raiders 538 to 540. Newell Fonda was crowed the tournament champion with a 412 followed by Alta-Aurelia with a 419.

Sidney Bieret of East Sac led the local players with a 111, shooting 55-56. Bieret had a 4 on the front side and a pair of 3’s on the back. Mia Babcock of South Central Calhoun paced the Titans with a 127. She shot a 63-64, finishing with a 4 on the front and a pair of 4’s on the back. Sam Stuart and Kyra Bruns of South Central Calhoun each had a 134 with Stuart shooting 63-71 and Bruns a 65-69. Stuart had a pair of 4’s on the front and Bruns had a 4 on the back nine. Lauren Korkow was the final score used by the Titans, shooting a 143 with a 69-74. Korkow had a 4 on the front side. Kendall Quirk had the second lowest score for the Raiders with a 136. She shot 61-75. Lexi Thomsen added a 139 (69-70) and Tristin Ludwig finished with a 154 (74-80).
