Boys Track Results Tuesday, April 26th
Carroll, South Central Calhoun and East Sac At Manson NW Webster
Carroll finished 4th overall with 85.5 points as the Tigers had 12 finishes inside the top 5 including a champion in the 3200 meters. Carrol trailed SE Valley with 172.5 points, Pocahontas Area with 137 points and 101 points for St Edmond. East Sac took 7th place, scoring 53 points with 8 finishes inside the top 5 and South Central Calhoun was 8th with 40.5 points and 4 finishes inside the top 5.
Ryan North of Carroll was the lone champion, winning the 3200 meters in 10:39.39. The Tigers were 2nd in the sprint medley with Remy Richardson, Jack White, Reece Ziegman and Zach Dikrx the 4×200 with Reece Ziegman, Austin Tigges, Jack White and Remy Richardson. They also took 2nd in the 4×100 with Reece Ziegman, Jack White, Remy Richardson and Zach Dirkx. Tanner Pontow gave Carroll a 2nd place in the 110 hurdles and Zach Dirkx was 3rd in the 100 meters. The Tigers were also 3rd in the shuttle hurdle with Owen Klocke, Cooper Ludwig, Tanner Pontow and Carter Smith.
Tyler Schmitt gave East Sac a pair of 2nd place finishes in the 400 meters and 200 meters. Garret Ortner was 3rd for the Raiders in the 400 hurdles.
Jayden Soard paced the Titans with 3rd place finishes in the Discus, Shot Put and Long Jump.
Carroll competes Thursday at Storm Lake, East Sac and South Central Calhoun are at South Central Calhoun on Friday.

Ar-We-Va, Coon Rapids Bayard and IKM-Manning At Audubon
The four area teams all finished in the top 9 and nearly in order. IKM-Manning had 7 finishes inside the top 5 including a championship in the 3200 meters and took 5th place overall with 56 points Coon Rapids Bayard had the most top 5 finishes with 9, allowing them to finish in 6th with 53 points, Audubon had 6 finishes inside the top 5 and were 7th overall with 50 points as the Wolves, Crusaders and Wheelers finished within 6 points of each other. Ar-We-Va finished inside the top 5 twice and had a champion in the high jump. The Rockets scored 22 points.
Caden Keller of IKM-Manning in the 3200 meters (10:22.74) and Cooper Kock of Ar-We-Va in the High Jump (6-03) were the local champions. Kock added a 2nd place finish in the 110 hurdles with Gavin Smith of Audubon in 3rd place. Smith would take 2nd in the 400 hurdles with his teammate Brandon Jensen in 3rd place. Lance Clayburg of Coon Rapids Bayard was 2nd in the Discus and Lane Sams of IKM-Manning took 2nd in the 1600 meters. The Crusaders went 2nd in the 4×200 with Easton Hays, Gabe Obert, Raiden Doty and Omarion Floyd. The Wolves took 2nd in a pair of relays, with Hunter Smith, Abe Polzien, Reed Hinners and Jaxon Doyel and the Distance Medley with Jade Lueth, Ross Kusel, Jaxon Doyel and Caden Keller. Audubon took 2nd in the shuttle hurdle with Aaron Olsen, Brandon Jensen, Carter Andreasen and Gavin Smith. Gabe Obert of Coon Rapids Bayard finished 3rd in the 100 meters, along with helping the Crusaders take 3rd in the 4×100 with Easton Hays, Raiden Doty and Tanner Oswald. The Crusaders were also 3rd in the sprint medley with Easton Hays, Tanner Oswald, Omarion Floyd and Kolby Culbertson.
Audubon, Coon Rapids Bayard and IKM-Manning will compete at AC-GC on Thursday. Ar-We-Va boys head to South Central Calhoun on Friday.

Kuemper At North Polk
Kuemper did most of its damage in individual events with Michael Pottebaum winning the 800 in 2:07.83, Chris Mohr finishing 3rd in the discus, Logan Sibenaller finishing 4th in both the 100 meters and 200 meters and Evan Adams taking 4th in the shot put. The Knights would score in seven individual events and three relays. They scored 38 points and finished in 6th place. North Polk won their meet with 174 points followed by Johnston with 134 points and Dowling with 86 points.
The Knights will compete again Friday at South Central Calhoun.

Glidden Ralston at Woodward Granger
Glidden Ralston came away with solid times at Woodward Granger Tuesday. The Wildcats finished with 32 team points, which included a first place and third place finish. Emmett Snyder secured a third place finish in the 800 meter run in a time of 2:16.29. The shuttle hurdle relay team was able to claim victory. Composed of Carter Soyer, Jonathan Bergmeier, Waylon Hein, and Ethan Olberding, the team won the event in a time of 1:10.14. Soyer was also able to finish fourth in the 400 hurdles in a time of 1:02.60. The Wildcats return to the track on Monday, May 2nd when they travel to Boyer Valley.
