The Kuemper Knights had a tough time against the Boone Toreadors on a chilly Tuesday afternoon on the courts. Boone was able to sweep the Knights 9-0 in matches. Kuemper went 29-72 in singles sets and 32-55 in doubles sets. Sam Janssen had two solid sets against Cody Overland, but ultimately he fell 6-4 and 6-3 in two sets. Jake Hausman had a similar battle against Ashton Thilges where he lost 6-4 and 6-3 in two sets. Jared Hausman dropped set one 6-2 against Zach Bolton and had a solid second set, but fell 6-4. In doubles, Janssen and Jared Hausman were able to take a set from Zach Bolton and Jake Judge 6-7 in a 7-4 tiebreaker and even forced a super tie breaker that they lost 10-7. Jake Hausman and Max Reincke had three close sets in doubles where they took set two 7-5 but dropped set three 10-4. The Knights are back in action on Thursday, April 21st when they will host Ballard.

The Audubon Wheelers played host to Southwest Valley on Tuesday where they had some difficult times against the Timberwolves. The Wheelers had better luck in doubles where they went 8-24 in sets. Isaac Jackson and Jake Lauritsen were able to take two sets from their opponents but both fell 8-2. Jackson teamed up with Sawyer McClain in doubles and put up a good effort against Owen Paul and Slate Goodvin-Kinnaird. Jackson and McClain took six sets from the duo from Southwest Valley, but ultimately the Timberwolves were victorious by a score of 8-6. The Wheelers are back in action on Friday, April 22nd when they play host to Red Oak.
