Girls Track Results Tuesday, April 19th
Audubon and Paton Churdan At CAM Anita At Atlantic
Audubon was really strong overall, finishing 3rd as a team with 124 points, just a .5 point behind Woodbine for 2nd place and only 9 points behind Clarinda. The Wheelers were balanced as usual, having top three finishes in 9 events with 13 different individuals or relay teams in the top 3. Audubon scored in 9 different individual events and 6 relays, taking 1st place in 5 events. Paton Churdan didn’t score any team points, but continued to grow with two finishes inside the top 10. The Rockets are young and inexperienced.
Madison Stecker and Hannah Thygesen were two of the top Wheelers. Steckler won the 200 meters in 29.17 while Thygesen won both the 400 meters (1:03.15) and the 800 meters (2:30.93). Thygesen was a part of the winning Sprint Medley team (1:59.81) joined by Makayla Schmidt, Mattie Nielsen and Abigail Zaiger while Steckler and Thygesen were in the 4×400 (4:28.29) winning team as well. They were joined by Abigail Zaiger and Mattie Nielsen. Stefi Beisswenger continues to be strong in the distance races, finishing 2nd in both the 1500 meters and 3000 meters. Madison Burr added a 3rd place in the 100 hurdles and Abigail Zaiger was 3rd in the discus.
Paton Churdan had their most success in a pair of relays, finishing 10th in both the 4×200 and Sprint Medley. The 4×200 consisted of Taryn Baugh, Bailey Anderson, Kyann Fowler and Grace Cullum. Fowler, Baugh and Anderson were joined by Kayla Sturm in the Sprint Medley.
Audubon girls will head to Underwood on Friday while Paton Churdan returns to action Thursday at West Central Valley.

IKM-Manning and Ar-We-Va At Denison Schleswig
The field was very balanced in Denison on Tuesday with Lawton Bronson winning the meet by 1 point (78) over Cherokee (77) and just 7 points over Ridge View (71). IKM-Manning brought home 8th place with 22 points and Ar-We-Va was 10th with 11 points. The Wolves scored in 6 events, scoring twice in the 3000 meters. The Rockets scored in 3 events, also having two runners score in the 100 hurdles. IKM-Manning and Ar-We-Va did most of their scoring in individual events. The Wolves picked up points in 5 individual events and 1 relay. Ar-We-Va scored in 2 individual events and a relay.
Emily Albertsen was the top finisher for the Wolves in an individual event, taking 3rd in the 3000 meters with Morgan Hanson right behind her in 4th place. Hanson took 5th in the 1500 meters. Julianna Stribe was a 4th place finisher in the 800 meters as the Wolves showed depth in the distance running. Emmie Ring finished 6th in the 400 hurdles and Jersey Bexten took 6th in the discus. IKM-Manning went 2nd in the 4×800 with Bianca Cadwell, Emmie Ring, Emily Albertsen and Julianna Stribe.
Ar-We-Va was strong in the hurdle events, which is their signature events this season. Jamie Hausman was 4th in the 100 hurdles and Elizabeth Brunner took 5th in the 100 hurdles. Maggie Ragaller added a 5th in the 400 hurdles. Ar-We-Va was 4th in the shuttle hurdle with Jamie Hausman, Amber Ragaller, Elizabeth Brunner and Maggie Ragaller.

South Central Calhoun, Coon Rapids Bayard and Glidden Ralston At SE Valley
South Central Calhoun had a great night taking a top 3 finish in 13 events (7 individual, 6 relays), winning 7 of those events. The Titans had three individual champs and won four relays. They finished 2nd as a team with 144 points, Ogden won the team title with 182 points. Glidden Ralston was very solid with limited numbers scoring in 6 individual events and claiming three titles. The Wildcats were 4th with 59 points. Coon Rapids Bayard also battles low numbers scoring in one relay on their way to 6th place with 10 points.
Keira Hammen claimed a pair of championships for the Titans, winning the discus (99-03) and the shot put (37-00.25). Chloe Judisch continues to run the 800 very well, giving the Titans their third champ (2:42.43). South Central Calhoun closed out the meet, winning the 4×400 (4:54.40) with Emma Myers, Evelyn Kramer, Adlen Wheelock and Jayci Graeve. The Distance Medley won with Olivia Toms, Kylee Schleisman, Brenna McAlister and Chloe Judisch in 4:52.95. Those four also won the Sprint Medley (2:03.73) with Judisch and McAlister switching places in the order. Toms helped another relay finish 1st, teaming with Adlen Wheelock, Claire Riat and Norah Riedesel to win the Shuttle Hurdle (1:17.17).
Glidden Ralston got good nights from Vanessa Koehler, Alexia Nelson and Tiela Janssen. Janssen won the 400 Hurdles in 1:20.03 while Koehler won the High Jump (4-10) and 200 meters (28.70). Koehler was also 2nd in the 100 meters and Alexia Nelson took 2nd in the 3000 meters.
Coon Rapids Bayard had their best success in the 4×200, taking 3rd with Miranda McClellan, Lydia Hofbauer, Kadey Olson and Brynn Bass. They were also 5th in the 4×100 with McClellan, Hofbauer, Olson and Bass teaming up again.
