Coon Rapids Bayard At Des Moines Christian Tournament At Jester Park
It was cold and windy day but the Crusaders battled well, finishing with a 404, good enough for 5th place at the Des Moines Christian Tournament. Des Moines Christian shot a 349, winning the tournament by 21 strokes over 2nd place Hampton Dumont. Treynor edged Greene County for 3rd with a 372, with the Rams shooting a 377.
Jacob Estrada led the Crusaders with an 89, finishing in 6th place. Preston McAlister was 9th with a 92, giving the Crusaders two golfers in the top 10. The next two scorers for Coon Rapids Bayard was Toby Benninger with a 106 and Trey Rosenbeck, shooting a 117.
Crusaders are back in action Monday at CAM Anita.
