Glidden Ralston hung with one of the top teams in the Rolling Valley, trailing 37-34 late in the 3rd quarter. The Bulldogs went on a 19-0 run between the end of the 3rd and the 4th quarters to pull away. The Wildcats led 21-20 late in the 1st half after Cale Klocke found Tyler Brant for a bucket. Boyer Valley ended the half on a 6-0 run. The loss drops Glidden Ralston to 2-15 overall and 0-12 in the conference.

Ethan Olberding gave Glidden Ralston the first of their four lead in the game, which changed leads seven times. The Wildcats were able to establish Caden Smith inside early as Cale Klocke found him for a pair of buckets. Emmett Snyder scored to put them back up 7-5 after their early 1-0 lead. Boyer Valley responded with 10 straight points to put the Bulldogs up 15-7 after the 1st quarter. The Bulldogs stretched the lead to 18-9 early in the 2nd quarter but Glidden Ralston responded with a 10-0 run. Carter Soyer hit a three to make it a 6 point game, Caden Smith scored inside and Soyer added another three before Ethan Olberding scored to put the Wildcats up 19-18. Boyer Valley scored to take the lead back before Cale Klocke found Tyler Brant for a tough bucket on the right block. Glidden Ralston led 21-20 but a quick 6-0 run by Boyer Valley put them up for good.

The Wildcats kept fighting in the 3rd quarter, buckets by Cale Klocke cut their deficit to 33-26, Emmett Snyder and Carter Soyer each hit Jonny Bergmeier for a pair of threes and Glidden Ralston pulled within 36-32. Caden Smith pulled a few moments later and the Wildcats trailed 37-34. Boyer Valley responded with a 19-0 run to put the game away. The Wildcats went cold in the 4th quarter, being outscored 18-2.

Caden Smith had a team high 10 points and 7 rebounds. Carter Soyer and Jonny Bergmeier each had 6 points. Cale Klocke had a team high 4 assists.

The Wildcats head to Woodbine (8-8, 5-7) on Tuesday.

Paton Churdan played what may have been their best game of the season. The Rockets battled hard, playing with great effort, down by 4 heading into the 4th quarter. Foul trouble played a factor down the stretch. The Rockets had three starters on the bench with foul trouble and the Spartans were able to take advantage inside. Paton Churdan handled the physical nature of the game well finishing with 29 rebounds and seven players having at least two. Eight different players scored for Paton Churdan as they trailed by 4 at the end of the 1st quarter and played even during the middle of the game, tying the Spartans, scoring 35 points in the 2nd and 3rd quarters combined.

Joe Carey had a big game offensively, leading the Rockets with 24 points and 4 steals. Seth Thurman added 13 points and 5 rebounds. Parker Fitzpatrick had 7 points and 8 rebounds and Bradyn Smith scored 7 points. Justin Stream chipped in a team high 5 assists.

The Rockets fell to 1-14 overall and 1-8 in the Rolling Valley. They head to Woodbine (8-8, 5-7) on Thursday.
