Kuemper won an odd game Tuesday, picking up their second win of the season and avenging a loss to the Tigers Saturday at the Ogden Tournament. Kuemper led 10-0 after 3 innings but saw their lead cut to 12-10 in the 5th inning. Carroll didn’t quit and battled hard to get back into the game, but Kuemper found answers every time Carroll made a run. Both teams used two pitchers, and both teams had over 15 hits. Carroll out hit the Knights 16-15 but the Knights took advantage of five walks and two hit-by-pitches. Kamryn Venner and Chloe Venteicher combined to walk 2 batters.
