Kuemper Hosts Hawkeye 10 Conference Tournament
Kuemper won the #1 singles and #2 singles titles, finished in 2nd place in #1 doubles, helping them take 2nd in the team race with 23 points. Shenandoah edged the Knights, winning both doubles championships and finishing 2nd in the #2 singles and 4th in #1 singles. They scored 28 points.
Mason Reicks went 24-10 in games in #1 singles, winning the title with an 8-2 win over Noah Narmi of St Albert. It was Reicks second win over Narmi in the last couple weeks. He won both of his first two matches 8-4. Carter Running added another singles title for Kuemper, winning the #2 singles bracket, going 3-0 in matches, winning 8-0 in the opening round and 9-8, (7-5) in the semifinals. he won a tight 9-7 match over Teagan Brunk of Shenandoah for the title. Max Reineke and Landon Pottebaum earned their way to the title in #1 doubles with 8-5 and 8-2 wins in their first-two matches. They faced Luke Daoust and Ryan Lawrence of Shenandoah in the finals. It was an outstanding match with Shenandoah winning the title 9-8, (11-9). Braxton Lu and Luke Schulte went 1-2 in #2 doubles, winning their first match before falling in two matches in a row.
