IKM-Manning picked up a huge win over Boyer Valley on Senior Night. The Wolves had a great start to the week with a win over Missouri Valley on Monday. IKM-Manning came out hot, and it was a great night offensively with ball movement and shooting going well. The Wolves would lead 17-6 after 1. The Wolves came out hot in the 2nd with Isaac Blankman hitting a couple of threes and the Wolves finding their way to the bucket to take a 37-12 lead into the break. IKM-Manning settled in further and played solid defense, which led to numerous turnovers in the 2nd half. The Wolves closed out senior night with a 62-34 win. With the win, it would be Head Coach Keith Wagner’s 500th Career win, which was special as former players and parents gathered to congratulate Wagner after the matchup. Coon Rapids-Bayard picked up a 34-point win in a non-conference matchup with ACGC on Thursday. The Crusaders have been a perennial top 10 team all season and played very well. The Crusaders and Chargers were back and forth in the first with CRB taking a 14-8 lead. The Crusaders would explode offensively in the 2nd with a 25-9 quarter to lead big at the break. Caden Oswald and Cal Heydon would both reach 20 points on the night as the Crusaders close out the game for a 74-40 win. The Crusaders take on Boyer Valley on Friday.

Glidden Ralston was sharp on defense most of the game and after a slow start the offense heated up, making 3-3’s in the final few minutes of the 1st quarter to lead 14-6. They were able to speed up the game in the 2nd quarter and the Wildcats did a nice job in transition, getting several easy buckets on their way to a 33-19 lead at half. Carson Peters had a big 2nd quarter for the Wildcats, scoring 12 of his 20-points. A pair of early 3’s from Greyson Renze started the 3rd off quickly for the Wildcats. From there they attacked the basket, getting to the free throw line. They scored 20-points in the 3rd with a lot of them coming from the charity strip. The Wildcats kept attacking in the 4th quarter, shooting more free throws. They outscored the Spartans in every quarter.
Carson Peters led the Wildcats with 20-points with Colton Rohrbeck adding 12-points and 5 rebounds. Landon Rohrbeck and Dawson Majerus both had 8-points with Majerus adding 7 rebounds and Rohrbeck with 3 steals. Hayden Fay added 3 steals and Alex Daniel had 6 rebounds.
The Wildcats are 5-14 heading into a home game with CAM on Friday.

A big 4th quarter helped the Wheelers rally to earn a nice home win on Thursday. Audubon fell behind 23-11 in the 1st quarter and chipped away at the deficit. The defense settled in, holding the Cougars to 8-points in the 3rd quarter, keeping the door ajar. They trailed 43-37 entering the final stanza, then took over. They poured in 35-points in the final 8:00, pulling away for a double digit win. The Wheelers did all their damage in the 4th quarter inside, as they didn’t make a three in the 2nd half.
Carson Wessel and Austin Christensen both had double-doubles. Wessel finished with 17-points and 10 rebounds while Christensen had 14-points, 10 rebounds and 3 steals. Brody Schultes had 11-points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and Aiden Kjergaard had 9-points. Jorgen Nowatzke had a strong game with 14-points and 5 steals, Brody Weber added 6 rebounds.
The Wheelers improved to 11-8 and will head to LoMa on Friday.
