South Central Calhoun fell in a makeup game to Sioux Central on Monday night. The Titans have been moving in the right direction, getting some wins as of late. The Titans would keep it close, but Sioux Central was able to gain a 13-9 lead after 1. The Rebels came out hot in the 2nd as they would go up 32-16 going into the break. The Titans kept battling but the rebels kept them at bay to head into the 4th up 44-28. Sioux Central was able to pick up a 59-40 win at home as the Titans fall to 7-8 on the season. Charlie Nattress led to the Titans with 16 points.

East Sac and Audubon battled it out on Monday evening for non-conference basketball action. Audubon came in at 8-7 on the year, while East Sac was 4-9 but 3-2 in their last 5. Audubon came out fast and was up 6-0 and 8-2 before East Sac went on a 12-5 run to close the quarter up 14-13. The Raiders shot well and attacked the rim effectively, but in the 2nd they would fall behind early and battle back, trailing at the halftime break 36-31. The Raiders played well in the back half of each quarter, and Audubon did the same for the 1st half of each quarter. Audubon came out in a 3-2 zone look and a tough 1-2-2 press as they were able to steal some buckets in transition and find some easy baskets to find a 22-9 third quarter with the Raider offense stalled due to tough defense. The Wheelers were able to close out the game with a 16-11 win at home. East Sac hosts Manson NW Webster Tuesday while Audubon heads to Tri-Center Friday.
