Carroll bounced back from their fourth place finish in Johnston Saturday with an impressive showing at home against Sioux City North Tuesday.
Jenna Currier continued her impressive season with four more strong performances. She captured the win in the 50 free with a time of 25.03 and the 100 fly with a time of 1:00.42. Currier was also part of the winning 200 free relay team, along with teammates Ameila Holt, Hailey Burns, and Ellie Beagle, and the 400 free relay team, along with Ellie and Ashley Beagle and Emma Myers.
Myers was competitive and successful in her two individual events, where she won the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:10.94 and the 200 IM with a time of 2:24.37. Burns and Ashley Beagle had a tight race in the 100 free where Burns won the event with a time of 59.15 and Beagle took second with a close time of 59.19. Finally Ellie Beagle was the swimmer for Carroll that went the distance, winning the 500 free with a final time of 5:41.52.
The Tigers are on the road again on Saturday, October 16th where they will compete at the Lewis Central Invitational.
