Kuemper picked up a win in their first postseason matchup against Manson NW Webster on Friday night. The Knights came out a little slow as they started the first half 1-7 from the three-point line. The Knights would lead 19-11 after 1. Griffin Glynn would go down during the start of this game with an ankle injury, which led to other Knights needing to step up and fill his shoes. Dylan Schon led the Knights in points with 28 but three others would fall in double digits as the Knights added 23 in the 2nd and 25 in the 3rd as they led by 30+ heading into the fourth. Kuemper was able to pick up an 81-43 win at home. They now face South Hardin on Tuesday.

Coon Rapids-Bayard won at home in the second round of the postseason over ACGC on Friday night. The Crusaders came out hot, leading 21-10 after the first quarter. The Chargers still gave their best shot, as they were underhanded in both matchups with the Crusaders, adding 17 but giving up 16 in the second. CRB’s defense was good tonight, especially in the third, as they would hold ACGC to 9 points to lead by double digits. CRB picked up a 72-43 win. Ty Heydon had a huge game with 24 points and 22 rebounds. They now face Audubon at Carroll High on Tuesday.

Audubon won the postseason tiebreaker over IKM-Manning on Friday night. Both teams won 1 game against eachother during the regular season. It was a super tight game with Audubon pulling out the first quarter by just a point at 15-14. IKM-Manning battled back in the second quarter as they outscored the Wheelers 15-13 to lead 29-28 at the halftime break. Both teams would remain knotted up in the third as it was 12-12 in the third and IKM-Manning led by 1. Audubon’s offense was better in the 4th, and the Wheelers were able to pick up a 55-52 win at home. They now face Coon Rapids-Bayard at Carroll High on Tuesday.
