Carroll had a 30-minute travel out east to Jefferson to take on the Greene County Rams. Carroll came in at 2-3 on the year and 1-0 in district play. Greene County sat at 4-1 and also 1-0 in the district as both were tied for the district lead. Huge district implications for this matchup, as the winner could potentially control their path to the district title. Carroll opened the game on the offensive end of the ball at their own 42. The Tigers would march down the field, aided by a Camden King QB sneak conversion on 4th and 1, which would get them down to the 6-yard line. The Tigers would run a sweep to Kieran Polking, who would get blocks and take it in for the opening drive touchdown. The Tigers would go up 7-0. The Tigers’ defense would force a 3-and-out and regain possession at the Ram 49 49-yard line.
