Kuemper and South Central Calhoun competed at Denison-Schleswig on Thursday. The Knights and Titans came in with a very good meet and an intense meet, which would make this one a meet both teams would like to perform at. Kuemper’s Dayton Wiederien would have another very good performance, taking 8th with a time of 18:24.30. Fletch Badding would be just behind him at 12th, and Thomas Pottebaum at 26th. The Knights would take 2nd in a very good team performance. South Central Calhoun took 11th with a good performance. Declan Spencer led the Titans at 41st with a time of 20:28.26. Both teams had really nice performance. The Titans are off until Saturday when they go to the Poky Invite. The Knights have one more regular-season meet next Thursday before the Hawkeye 10 Cross Country Championships down in Shenandoah.
