Carroll At Des Moines Lincoln
Carroll had just eight girl available to swim on Saturday and had a strong meet, with four individual events finishing in the top 3 and two of their three relays taking 2nd place. Ava Hinote competed in a pair of new events and swam well in both. Carroll ended the meet in 5th with 271-points, behind Indianola in 4th with 305-points. Boone won the invite with 488-points. The Tigers started well, taking 2nd in the 200 Medley Relay with Grace Schoonover, Alexis Borkowski, Brylie Behrens and Sophia Malone, swimming a 2:06.25. They were also 2nd in the 200 Free Relay with Ava Hinote, Sophia Malone, Brylie Behrens and Grace Schoonover. They swam a 1:51.36. Brylie Behrens finished 2nd in the 50 Free in 27.68 and 3rd in the 100 Fly in 1:09.68. Grace Schoonover was 3rd in the 500 Free, swimming a 6:04.35 and Harper Ladwig added a 3rd in the 100 Back in 1:08.76.
