Girls Golf Results Monday, May 12th 

Kuemper At Hawkeye 10 Conference Meet At Carroll National 

Kuemper had three girls in the top 10 while Lewis Central won Medalist and finished with four girls in the top 17 as the Titans edged the Knights for the Hawkeye 10 Conference Tournament championship shooting a 364 to the Knights 365. It was a tight battle between the two teams all day with Chloe Perfect of Lewis Central giving the Titans a 8 stroke lead, winning Medalist. The freshman shot a 75, 7 strokes in front of Runner-Up Medalist Brynn Knaus of Red Oak. Addy Beiter of Kuemper tied with Taylor Rasmussen of Clarinda for 3rd place with both shooting an 83. Red Oak and Shenandoah tied for 3rd in the team race with both shooting a 372.

Addy Beiter led Kuemper with an 83, shooting 43 on the front and 40 on the back. Beiter had a pair of birdies and a par on the front and shot par on five holes on the back to finish tied for 3rd place. Giada Lujano finished in 7th place with an 89, going 43 on the front and 46 on the back. Lujano had a birdie and a pair of pars on the front while shooting par on two holes on the back. Elsa Tiefenthaler was 9th overall, shooting a 90 with a 44 on the front and a 46 on the back. Tiefenthaler had 3 par on the front and three more par on the back. Ella Pick added a 103 for the Knights with a 52 on the front and a 51 on the back. Pick had a pair on the front and a birdie on the back.

Carroll Girls At Raccoon River Conference At Ballard Country Club  

Ella Perry and Jacey Gutshall both had their best rounds of the season with Perry finishing just a couple strokes out of medal contention. The Tigers finished 7th as a team, shooting a 436, behind North Polk with a 420. Gilbert the defending 3A champions, won the team race by 78 strokes, shooting a 312 to ADM with a 390. Ella Lohrbach and Ava Lohrbach of Gilbert earned Medalist and Runner-Up Medalist with one shooting a 67 and the other a 72.

Ella Perry led Carroll with a 96, followed by Amelia Henson with a 106, Jacey Gutshall with a 116 and Reese Heeler with a 126.

Coon Rapids Bayard edged by ACGC at Coon Rapids Bayard on Monday, shooting a 228 to the Chargers 232. The Crusaders were led by Kerra Hart, who shot a 52, winning Medalist and Mallory Schroeder, shooting a 54. Other scores for Coon Rapids Bayard were Brielle Bass and Ella Heithoff both shooting a 61. Allie DeWitt of ACGC was Runner-Up Medalist with a 53.

Mari Gleason paced the Audubon girls with a 53 on Monday as the Wheelers wrapped up their regular season with a match at home against Riverside. The Wheelers golfed with three girls, so they weren’t able to post a team score, falling in the team race with Riverside shooting a 216. Ashley Kelly earned Medalist for Riverside with a 49 and Kacie Perkins was Runner-Up Medalist for the Bulldogs, shooting a 53, edging Gleason for the Medal. Emily Foran added a 61 for Audubon and Sydney Johnson was right behind her with a 62.
