Pudenz scored 3 goals, collecting the hat trick in the Knights 4-0 win over Boone in the championship game of the Boone Tournament. Kalie Hausman added a goal for the Knights, which put together another strong defensive effort, limiting the shots by Boone. Karsyn Overmohle ended the game with 4 saves.
The wins on Saturday moved Kuemper to 7-3-1 as they get ready to host Denison Schleswig on Monday.

Carroll dropped a pair of games on Saturday at the Denison Schleswig Tournament, falling to Abraham Lincoln in the opening round and to Riverside in a tight game for 3rd place. The pair of losses drops the Tigers to 1-13 on the season. They will travel to Gilbert on Tuesday.

East Sac played very well against the host Monarchs in the opening round of the Denison Schleswig Tournament on Saturday. They moved the ball around well on offense, having multiple scoring chances but the Monarchs defense came up clutch each time. The Raiders defense matched them with Denae Thayer continuing to play exceptionally well in goal. She finished with 11 saves, helping the Raiders have a chance to win in a shootout. The Raiders had taken 9 shots during regulation and Denison was able to make stops again in the shootout as the game came down to the sixth kicker. Denison Schleswig scored and advanced with the win.
Chloe Bieret led the Raiders with 3 shots, Emma Kischer and Macy Monahan both added a pair of shots. Denae Thayer finished with 11 saves.

Denae Thayer had another outstanding effort against Sioux City North and the Raiders defense held tough against an aggressive offensive attack. The Raiders went on the counter attack, getting a few scoring opportunities but weren’t able to score. Sioux City North slide one shot into the back of the net and went on to beat the Raiders 1-0.
Denae Thayer had 23 saves for East Sac with Chloe Bieret having 2 shots and Sarah Bontrager adding 1 shot.
The Raiders fall to 2-7-2 and will return home Monday against Atlantic.
