Carroll At Denison Schleswig

Carroll had a strong day, led by Wyatt Ragaller, who shot a 34, earning Medalist honors. His outstanding round with 2 birdies and 7 holes with par helped Carroll shoot a 161 to beat the Monarchs, which shot a 170. Moyer Olberding had a strong round for Carroll, shooting a 41 with a birdie and 3 par’s. Mac Collison added a 43, shooting par on 3 holes and Rayne Leymaster also shot a 43 with par on 3 holes. Nash Langenfeld led Denison Schleswig with a 39, earning Runner-Up Medalist.

Ragaller had a birdie on holes 3 and 8 with pars on the remaining seven holes. Olberding shot birdie on 8 and went for par on 4, 7 and 9. Collison shot par on holes 2, 4 and 7 and Leymaster had par on holes 2, 4 and 8.

The Tigers head to the Storm Lake Tournament on Saturday.

Kuemper, Atlantic and Treynor At Harlan

Kuemper had a really good day with two golfers shooting in the 30’s and Kayden Schon winning Medalist with a 36. They shot a 157, tying with Atlantic, which defeated the Knights Monday at the Denison Schleswig Tournament. The Trojans would edge Kuemper for the quad title on Tuesday, winning the 5th player scorecard. The Knights and Trojans easily outdistanced Treynor (177) and Harlan (178). Sam Brosam of Atlantic earned Runner-Up Medalist with a 37.

Kayden Schon was tough for Kuemper, leading the way with a 36, followed by Dawson Billmeier with a 39. Kuemper added a pair of low 40’s with Braxton Vonnahme shooting a 40 and Jack Lenz a 42.

Kuemper heads to Lakeside Municipal on Wednesday for the CYO Tournament.

East Sac At SE Valley

East Sac fell on the road on Tuesday as the Jaguars had all four of their scores in the 40’s, shooting a 178. Kason Schroeder led the Raiders with a 48, but the other three scores for East Sac were low 50’s, finishing with a team score of 199. Will Comp of SE Valley earned Medalist with a 42 with Dawson Tuel and Brady Hanson both finishing with a 45 for Runner-Up Medalist.

Kason Schroeder led the Raiders with a 48, followed by Zach Jacobsen and Tucker Grosley both shooting a 50. Sam Julin added a 51 for the Raiders.

East Sac continues a busy week with a home meet on Thursday with Newell Fonda, Manson NW Webster and Sioux Central.

Coon Rapids Bayard and Glidden Ralston At Boyer Valley

Coon Rapids Bayard earned a nice win as they played really well on Tuesday, edging Boyer Valley on their home course. The Crusaders finished with a 155, with three guys in the 30’s and their fourth score at 40. Boyer Valley finished with a 157, finishing in 2nd place. Glidden Ralston shot a 191 with three guys in the 40’s and their fourth score at 50. Tristen Burkhart of Boyer Valley won Medalist with a 37, edging Jace Baker of Coon Rapids Bayard, who shot a 38, earning Runner-Up Medalist.

Jace Baker and Gavin Heiderscheit of Coon Rapids Bayard both had a 38. Logan Kenyon added a 39 and Max Shirbroun finished with a 40.

Glidden Ralston was led by Colby Wallace with a 46, followed by Jackson Whitaker with a 47 and Mason Dunn shooting a 48. Carson Peters added a 50 for the Wildcats.

The Crusaders will host Panorama, Woodward Granger and ACGC on Thursday. Glidden Ralston heads to the SE Valley Tournament on Friday.
