Carroll at Tri-Center

Carroll’s Girls Track team competed at Tri-Center with 9 other teams. Carroll got 3rd with 68 team points. Carroll ran with weather not on their side as Thursday evening into the night was mother natures welcome to spring. High wind and the threat of thunderstorms. Carroll’s girls have excelled all season in the hurdles and field events with two top throwers.

Katelyn Aden was Carroll’s first champion in the 400 hurdles with a 1:07.37. Olivia Rowedder won the discus with a throw of 118-08. Emma Kuhlman also took 2nd in the Shot Put

Audubon, Paton-Churdan, and Glidden-Ralston at ACGC

Audubon, Paton-Churdan and Glidden-Ralston all competed at ACGC on Thursday. The meet fell to mother nature as it was canceled shortly after the 4×200 due to weather. No team standings were available after the meet due to it being canceled. Each team had some individual success throughout the night.

Paton-Churdan had Alivya Smith get 3rd in the discus. Audubon found success with their 4×800 relay of Maya King, Leah Boysen, Riley Miller and Marie Brand who got 3rd. Kassidy Wenck took 5th for Glidden-Ralston in the 100.

East Sac County traveled to Manson NW Webster fora big meet. 10 other schools participated. Newell-Fonda won the meet with 101 team points. East Sac took 10th with 43 total points. East Sac won with Wendie Veit in the 400 Hurdles with a time of 1:10.77. They also won the Shuttle Hurdle with a time of 1:13.50 with Madison Meister, Libbie Veit, Tori Hauser and Wendie Veit

Coon Rapids Bayard competed in a CoEd at Colo-NESCO. CRB took 5th with 85.5 team points. CRB took home 5 champions. Maddy Mason won both the Shot and Disc with throws of 33-06 and 115-01. The 4×100 relay of Lauren Cook, Amelia Eddy, Malia Clayburg and Anna Hart took first with a time of 54.23. The Shuttle team of Lauren Cook, Aubrey Hofbauer, Malia Clayburg and Amelia Eddy won with a 1:14. The 4×200 team of Lauren Cook, Amelia Eddy, Malia Clayburg and Anna Hart  ran a 1:55.87.
