The Kuemper Knights continue to pick up blowout wins as they knock off Glenwwod at home on Thursday. With the victory, Kuemper picks up their fourth straight win. The Knights led the whole game and were able to jump out to an 8-0 lead early in the first quarter. Kuemper would lead 20-10 going to the second quarter. In the second quarter Kuemper started slow offensively. They were able to pick up the pace coming out of a timeout. The Knights would grow their lead going to the half at 43-18. Coming out of the locker room, Kuemper would continue to grow their lead. Kuemper outscored Glenwood 17-7 in the third quarter. The Knights would get the lead to 35 points as they went on to win 74-46.

The Knights had three players score in double figures. They were led by Carson Kanne, who scored 18 points in the win. Dylan Schon chipped in 12 points off the bench for Kuemper. Brock Badding was the third player in double digits with 11 points. The Knights were great on the defensive end. Kuemper pulled down 39 rebounds as a team. Jack Badding recorded nine rebounds and seven assists in the win. With the win, Kuemper moves to 12-1. The Knights are back in action on Saturday against West Lyon.

Ar-We-Va withstood a strong 1st quarter by Exira-EHK as they shot the ball well. The Rockets defense settled in as they game went on, contesting more shots and getting steals, allowing them to get transition baskets. The Rockets trailed 19-14 at the end of the 1st quarter but tied the game at 29 at half. Ar-We-Va blew the game open in the 3rd quarter as Blayne Smith had a huge night on offense. Smith finished with 28 points, helping Ar-We-Va build a 52-40 lead going into the 4th quarter.

Blayne Smith finished with 28 points and 7 rebounds with Wyatt Ragaller adding 15 points and 7 steals. Hayden Studer scored 7 points and Wade Ragaller had 6 points and 5 rebounds. Tyson VonGlan pulled down 7 rebounds. 

The win improves Ar-We-Va to 9-3 overall and 6-3 in the Rolling Valley. They host West Harrison on Friday.

Glidden-Ralston vs West Central Valley

The Glidden-Ralston Wildcats picked up a nonconference win over West Central Valley on Thursday. The first quarter was a defensive battle as both teams struggled to score. Glidden-Ralston would lead 12-7 after the first quarter. The Wildcats were able to force turnovers in the second quarter and turned those into points as their lead would continue to grow. Glidden-Ralston would lead 31-13 at the half. WCV would go on a 12-4 run in the third quarter, trying to mount a comeback. Glidden-Ralston would lead 46-31 going to the fourth quarter. Glidden-Ralston would hit some big threes in the fourth quarter as they went on to win 55-39.

Three Glidden-Ralston players scored in double digits. The Wildcats were led by Jonathan Bergmeier, who scored 20 points in the win. Waylon Hein chipped in 11 points, and Dawson Majerus added 10 for the Wildcats. With the win, Glidden-Ralston moves to 7-6. The Wildcats are back in action on Friday against Paton Churdan.
