East Sac led twice early with Jordan Ulmer hitting a three and Jack Gullett scoring inside but the offense struggled and OABCIG dominated in the paint with their size. The Falcons pulled away throughout the game, leading by as many as 34 points in the 2nd half. East Sac shot 27.5% from the field, going 10-26 from beyond the arc, hitting three-threes in the final couple minutes of the game.
Jordan Ulmer gave East Sac a 3-2 lead as the game changed leads on four straight baskets. The Falcons went up 4-3 but Jack Gullett scored inside and East Sac led 5-4. OABCIG was able to pound the ball inside, going back up 6-5 before stretching the lead to 13-5. They led 15-7 at the end of the 1st quarter. The Falcons went on a 10-0 run to start the 2nd quarter, taking control of the game. East Sac turned the ball over a few times and OABCIG was able to get out and run. Asher Lawler scored a bucket and Sam Julin drained a three, pulling East Sac within 25-12. A Falcon 9-0 run helped them lead 36-16 at half.
The Falcons stretched the lead out of the locker room to 45-18 before Sam Julin knocked in a three. OABCIG added a 5-0 run leading 50-21 and was 54-30 at the end of the 3rd quarter after Zach Jacobsen had a pair of threes for East Sac. The Raiders were outscored 13-3 to start the 4th until Carson Schmitt hit a three, followed by threes from Sam Julin and Zach Jacobsen.
Sam Julin led the Raiders with 15 points with 4 assists. Zach Jacobsen hit 4 of 4 from beyond the arc, finishing with 13 points. Asher Lawler added 3 steals.
The 67-42 loss drops East Sac to 1-2 as they prepare to host Newell Fonda on Friday.

Jonathan Bergmeier scored 9 points in the 1st quarter as Glidden Ralston jumped out 13-4. The Rams fought back late in the quarter, cutting the Wildcats lead to 13-10 to start the 2nd quarter. The Wildcats locked down defensively to start the 2nd quarter, creating turnovers allowing them to get in transition. The ball movement was good for Glidden Ralston during the 2nd quarter run and then extended the lead to 32-14 at half.
The Wildcats extended their lead early in the 3rd quarter, knocking down a few shots. The offense went cold after those early baskets and Greene County started chipping away and heated up on the offensive end. They outscored Glidden Ralston 20-5 in the 3rd but the Wildcats held a 37-34 going to the 4th quarter. Glidden Ralston offense had several good looks in the 4th quarter but struggled to get them to fall. The Rams hit several big threes and hit big free throws down the stretch. Glidden Ralston had chances to take a lead late but couldn’t get any shots to fall, losing 47-43.
Jonathan Bergmeier had 15 points with Colby Wallace adding 10 points and 6 rebounds. Waylon Hein had 8 rebounds and Dawson Majerus added 6 points and 4 rebounds.
The Wildcats lost for the first time this season, falling to 4-1. They head to Woodbine on Tuesday.
