Audubon and IKM-Manning at WIC in Tri Center

Audubon and IKM-Manning competed at the Western Iowa Conference meet in Tri-Center on Monday. Overall, seven area runners finished in the top 30. IKM-Manning as a team finished in fourth with a score of 76. Brody Schultes of Audubon was the only runner for the Wheelers as he finished in 29th with a time of 19:58.52. For IKM-Manning, Isaac Blankman finished in tenth, running a time of 18:11.75. Kasche Huehn was 15th at the meet with a time of 18:27.27. Not too far behind was Nathanael Conner, who finished in 16th, running a time of 18:27.57. Riverside won the meet as a team with 37 points. Dawson Henderson of Riverside came in first with a time of 16:34.08.

East Sac and South Central Calhoun at OABCIG

East Sac County and South Central Calhoun competed at OABCIG on Monday, with both teams finishing in the top 11. East Sac finished in fourth as a team with 113 points. Landon Sporrer continues to run well for the Raiders, as he came in third with a time of 17:03.02. Riley Aragon finished in fourth for ESC, running a time of 17:20.48. Owen Engel also finished in the top ten, coming in ninth with a time of 17:42.74. For South Central Calhoun, they were led by Joe Thelin, who finished in 31st, running a time of 19:41.02. Landen Evans finished in 52nd with a time of 20:53.85. As a team, South Central Calhoun finished 11th with 269 points. Sioux Central won the team aspect of the meet with 59 points. Lucos Wernimont from Sioux Central came in first with a time of 16:46.95.
