East Sac suffered a setback in their hunt for a home playoff game on Friday, falling to Manson NW Webster. The Raiders could have controlled their own destiny for 2nd place in the district but Cougars were still thinking district title. East Sac was unable to take advantage of the games opening possession and Manson NW Webster turned an interception into points. The Cougars went 57-yards in 6 plays, scoring on a 31-yard run with 5:43 left in the 1st quarter. The game stayed 6-0 Cougars into the 2nd quarter. The Raiders had one of their better drives, going 58-yards on 9 plays. East Sac turned it over on downs and Manson NW Webster responded, marching 78-yards on 11 plays and scoring on a 14-yard run, pushing the lead to 14-0. A quick punt for East Sac, set up another Cougar score, taking over at their own 48-yard line. Manson NW Webster went 52-yards on 12 plays, scoring on a 19-yard pass from Logan Moline to Matt Condon. The Cougars led 20-0 going into half. East Sac had a nice drive in the 1st half but was held to 93-yards.

The Cougars added to their lead to start the 2nd half, driving 53-yards on 8-plays and scoring with 7:43 left in the 3rd quarter. The 8-yard run moved to lead to 28-0. A second Raider interception set up the Cougars final score, going 45-yards in 2 plays to lead 35-0 with 4:57 left in the 3rd quarter. The Cougars had success running the ball, finishing with 255-yards and four touchdowns. They only passed 8 times but completed 5 of those for 83-yards and a touchdown. The Raiders struggled on the ground but had some success in the air, throwing for 160-yards with a touchdown. That score came on their final possession of the game. East Sac went 80-yards on 9 plays, using a hurry-up offense with Sam Julin hitting Ryan Petersen for a 5-yard touchdown with 0:01 left in the game. The Raiders offense finished with 55-yards on 21 carries.

The Raiders fall to 3-4 overall and 2-2 in the district. They travel to Sioux Central, Sioux Rapids on Friday with 3rd place in the district going to the winner.
