Girls Cross Country Results Monday, October 7th
IKM-Manning At Nodaway Valley
It was another strong day for the IKM-Manning girls on a hilly course just west of Greenfield. Raegan Garrison and Emily Albertsen both had strong starts with Garrison working her way through the pack in front of her to finish 8th overall. She ran a 21:05.70, leading a Wolves team that had three runners in the top 15 and their top five in the top 30. Taylor Beckendorf was able to use the hills to make her move midway through the race, finishing in 14th place in 22:11.30 with Emily Albertsen right behind her in 15th place in 22:22.00. IKM-Manning finished 2nd overall with 84-points, behind Van Meter, which had a really strong day with three runners in the top six and four in the top 13. Emma McCoy of Van Meter ran away from the field, finishing 1st with a 19:31.40. Maclaine German of Martensdale St Mary’s was 2nd in 20:40.40.
