The Glidden-Ralston Wildcats dropped their second straight game as they fell on the road to Collins-Maxwell. The game was close and back and forth. Collins-Maxwell took an early lead in the first quarter, taking an 8-0 lead. Glidden-Ralston would respond in the second quarter as they outscored the Spartans 22-16 in the quarter. Going into the locker rooms, Collins-Maxwell would hold on to a 24-22 lead. Both teams added a couple more touchdowns in the third quarter, but the Wildcats would trail 38-36 in the fourth. Collins-Maxwell grew their lead in the fourth quarter by adding a touchdown, and they would go on to win 46-42.
Colby Wallace had a great game on the ground with 189 yards and five touchdowns. Wallace was 7-11 through the air for 115 yards and another touchdown. Dawson Majerus added three receptions for 54 yards in the loss. Alex Daniel recorded a team-high ten tackles for Glidden-Ralston. With the loss, the Wildcats fell to 2-3. Glidden-Ralston is back in action on Friday against Audubon on 93.7 KKRL.
