Glidden Ralston At Brookside Golf Course- Class 1A Sectional
Glidden Ralston wrapped up their season with two golfers in the top 20 and their top four scores in the top 29. They shot a 390, finishing in 5th place, behind conference foe Boyer Valley with a 366. Akron Westfield advanced, winning the Sectional with a 318 and St Mary’s Remsen moved on with a 347, finishing in 2nd place. Kingsley Pierson hosted the event, taking 3rd with a 351. Carter Wilken of Akron Westfield shot a 74, earning Medalist honors with Vincent Koelling of Kingsley Pierson was Runner-Up Medalist with a 76.
Carson Peters had a strong day for the second straight day, shooting a 89 to lead the Wildcats. He finished in 12th place, shooting 45 on the front 9 and 44 on the back 9. Peters had a birdie on number 9 and added pars on holes 1 and 5. He added pars on the back 9 on holes 14, 15 and 18. Colby Wallace added a 97, taking 20th place, shooting 47 on the front 9 and 50 on the back 9. He had a birdie on number 3 and pared hole 5 on the front and pared 10 and 15 on the back 9. Charles Schon finished with a 100, going 51 on the front 9 and 49 on the back 9. He pared number 15 and finished in 27th place. Jackson Whitaker had a 51 on the front 9 and a 53 on the back 9, finishing 29th with a 104. Whitaker pared number 2 on the front 9 and holes 15 and 17 on the back 9.
