Kuemper had a lot of chances, taking around 15 shots on goal in the 2nd half on Friday but weren’t able to squeeze the ball into the net as they fell on the road. Both teams scored in the 1st half with Carson Kanne getting the goal for Kuemper. The game was tied at 1-1 at half before Tri Center edged ahead in the 2nd half. The Kuemper offense was crisp but couldn’t convert on those opportunities.
Michael Kasperbauer made 7 saves for the Knights while Carson Kanne had a goal. Fletch Badding had a couple near misses in the 2nd half.
The Knights drop to 6-8 and will head to Atlantic on Tuesday.

The game in Wall Lake was a thriller with East Sac with the Raiders winning in overtime, improving to 4-3 on the season. Fort Dodge edged ahead early with a goal but Isaiah Aragon tied the game at 1 on a penalty kick. The Dodgers then built a comfortable lead, scoring four goals to go up 5-2. Luke Wright scored on an unassisted goal late in the half, pulling East Sac within 5-2 at half.
Things changed for East Sac in the 2nd half as they moved the ball well, getting a goal from Asher Lawler on a pass from Riley Aragon, cutting the deficit to 5-3. Isaiah Aragon cut it to 5-4 moments later with an unassisted goal. Sam Schmitt tied the game with less than 5:00 left, sending the game to overtime. The overtime went back and forth with neither team able to score until Sam Schmitt won it with a goal off an assist from Carson Schmitt. Luke Wernimont was strong in goal in the 2nd half and overtime holding Fort Dodge scoreless.
The Raiders host Greene County on Friday.
