The Kuemper Knights fall on the road to a good Harlan team Monday. With the loss, Kuemper falls to 0-3 in the season. The Knights struggled defensively, giving up five goals. Cierra Pudenz scored the only Kuemper goal on the night. The Knights are back in action on Tuesday against Greene County.

Riverside at East Sac County

The East Sac County Raiders pick up a blowout win over Riverside on Monday. The scoring started quickly for the Raiders. Cora Mahler scored the game’s first goal just over three minutes into the match. Approximately six minutes later, East Sac County extended their lead to 2-0 off of a Chloe Bieret goal. Early in the first half, Riverside would score on themselves to help extend the Raider lead. East Sac County would take a 4-0 lead into the half off of a penalty kick from Kenna Meyer. In the first six minutes of the second half, ESC extended their lead to 7-0 off of goals from Hannah Pudenz, Kenna Meyer, and Chloe Bieret. Kenna Meyer continued to play outstanding for the Raiders as she added her third goal to make the score 8-0 in the second half. East Sac County would go on to win 10-0. With the win, the Raiders improved to 2-1 on the season.
