The Ar-We-Va Rockets fell on the road at CAM. The Rockets struggled with turnovers during the game. Ar-We-Va fell down 30-12 at the end of the first quarter. Ar-We-Va’s defense picked up in the second quarter, holding CAM to only nine points. The Rockets would be down 39-18 at the half. Ar-We-Va’s offense struggled coming out of the locker room, as they only managed five points in the third quarter. Ar-We-Va would go on to lose 88-30. Delaney Schurke was the Rockets leading scorer with 13 points. Amber Ragaller was the team’s second-leading scorer with nine points. Azaya Martinez led the Rockets in rebounds with five. Gabrielle Hundling led Ar-We-Va in steals with five. Ar-We-Va falls to 4-18 on the season and 3-13 in the Rolling Valley. Ar-We-Va is back in action on Thursday against West Bend-Mallard.

Coon Rapids Bayard defense controlled the 1st quarter as the Crusaders earned their 17th  win of the season, topping Glidden Ralston on Monday night. The Wildcats settled in better in the 2nd half but trailed 26-3 at  half and couldn’t recover. Malia Clayburg came out aggressive on both ends of the floor, scoring 6 straight points in the 1st quarter as the Crusaders jumped out to a 10-1 lead. She scored 8 of the Crusaders 18-points in the 1st quarter. Aubrey Hofbauer and Ella Heithoff contributed points in the 1st quarter as Coon Rapids Bayard led 18-1. Brileigh Bock hit a free throw early, pulling Glidden Ralston within 2-1. Coon Rapids Bayard then scored 20 straight points. Kassidy Wenck snapped the run with a tough runner in the lane. Coon Rapids Bayard extended the lead to 34-4 in the 3rd quarter but Glidden Ralston got buckets from Kassidy Wenck and Brileigh Bock and a free throw from Tiela Janssen to pull within 34-9. Aubrey Hofbauer and Malia Clayburg built the lead back combining on a 6-0 run Clayburg scoring 4-points. They eventually went on to lead 35-points. 

Malia Clayburg led three Crusaders in double figures with 15-points along with 7 rebounds and 4 steals. Aubrey Hofbauer had 13-points with 7 rebounds and 5 assists, having a strong game at the point guard. Breeley Clayburg added 12-points with 6 rebounds and 4 steals. Lydia Hofbauer had several nifty passes, leading the Crusaders with 6 assists and Ella Heithoff had 6-points. 

Kassidy Wenck had a team high 9-points and 5 rebounds for Glidden Ralston. Allison Snyder had a team high 8 rebounds and Brileigh Bock had 3-points and 4 rebounds. Elizabeth Lloyd had 5 rebounds. 

Coon Rapids Bayard moves to 17-3 overall and 13-3 in the RVC. They host Paton Churdan on Thursday. Glidden Ralston dropped their 12th straight, falling to 4-16 overall and 3-12 in the RVC. They head to Paton Churdan on Tuesday.

The Paton Churdan Rockets fell at home to Woodbine Monday night, dropping a game to Woodbine. Paton Churdan was down 29-8 at the half. The Rockets managed to score 15 points in the second half but would go on to lose 65-23. Paton Churdan was unable to keep up with Woodbine on the offensive end. The Rockets were led in scoring by Kaliyah Minnehan, who recorded ten points. Alivya Smith was Paton Churdan’s second-leading scorer with seven points. The loss drops Paton Churdan to 0-19 on the season and 0-10 in the Rolling Valley. The Rockets are back in action on Tuesday against Glidden-Ralston.

The IKM-Manning Wolves could not stick with MVAOCOU, as they would pick up a road loss on Monday. The Wolves struggled offensively, as they only scored eight points in the first half. IKM-Manning was outscored 25-5 in the first quarter and 22-3 in the second quarter. The Wolves would find themselves down 45-8 at the half. The Wolves were outscored 25-8 in the second half, and they would go on to lose 72-16. Anna Stangl scored a team-high six points. McKenna Benton was the team’s second-leading scorer with five points. Stangl also pulled down a team-high seven rebounds. With the loss, IKM-Manning falls to 4-17 on the season. The Wolves are back in action on Thursday against Collins-Maxwell.

The Carroll Tigers struggled offensively in a road loss to Gilbert Tuesday night. The Tigers could not keep up with Gilbert offensively. The game started close as Gilbert jumped out to a 12-8 lead over Carroll at the end of the first quarter. Both teams scored nine points in the second quarter. Gilbert would hold a four-point lead at the half, 21-17. Carroll came out in the second half in a man defense. Gilbert succeeded against the defense, scoring 23 points as they extended their lead. Carroll was down 44-27 going to the fourth quarter. The fourth quarter was the only quarter in which Carroll outscored Gilbert. Carroll would go on to lose 56-40.

Carroll rebounded the ball well, pulling down 39 as a team. The Tigers pulled down 21 offensive rebounds. Olivia Rowedder recorded a team-high nine rebounds. Katelyn Aden pulled down eight rebounds and scored a team-high nine points for Carroll. Carly Menken was the Tigers’ second-leading scorer with seven points. With the loss, Carroll ends their four-game losing streak. The Tigers fall to 10-8 and 7-7 in conference play. Carroll is back in action on Tuesday against Carlisle.
