The Glidden Ralston Wildcats had to battle bitter temperatures Thursday as they traveled to Jefferson to take on Greene County. The Rams were able to pick up the home meet with a score of 172 compared to Glidden Ralston’s 211.

Carson Peters had a stand-out day on the course with a runner-up medalist score of 44. Jack Hansen of Greene County ended up with medalist honors with a score of 37. Peters told Carroll Broadcasting Sports Network after the meet that he’s taken a lot of advice from teammate Ethan Olberding and is always in competition with him to see who is better. He hopes to shoot in the low 40s this season. Olberding has similar goals this season and shot 52 at this meet. Mason Dunn was third for the Wildcats with a score of 57 followed by Blayce Nelson who shot a 58 to round out the top four scorers. Mark Lensch was just outside the top four with a score of 59 on the day.

The Wildcats are back in action on Monday, April 24th when they travel to compete at another Rolling Valley Conference meet at Coon Rapids.
