Girls Wrestling Results Tuesday, December 20th
Carroll At Kuemper Invitational
Carroll and Kuemper ended up as the only local teams to compete at the first ever Kuemper Girls Wrestling Invite. The Tigers wrestled 10 girls and the Knights 4 girls. Carroll High finished 9-13 in matches wrestled with 5 wins by fall. The Knights were just under .500, going 4-5 in matches wrestled with 2 wins by fall. Carroll had four girls finish in the top 3 while Kuemper had 3 girls in the top 3.
Sunny McGowan was the lone champion, going 2-0 for Carroll with a win by fall. Averi Burke went 2-1 for Carroll with a win by fall as she finished in 2nd place. Julia Kanne went 2-1 with a win by fall, finishing in 3rd place and Emma Daniels went 1-1 with her win by fall for Carroll, taking 3rd place.
