State Cross Country Meet Results for Class 1A and 2A for Friday, October 28th
IKM-Manning Boys and Class 1A Team Results
The IKM-Manning boys cross country team had a great showing at the Class 1A state cross country meet. As a team, they were able to finish fifth overall with 181 team points. Iowa City Regina was the winner of the meet with 102 points.
Caden Keller finished up his senior cross country season by crushing his set goal of a top-five finish at the meet, completing the course in second place with a final time of 16:13.07. Reed Hinners had a nice finish for the Wolves in 39th place with a time of 17:33.59. Lane Sams finished up his season with a 62nd-place finish with a final time of 17:55.41. Nathan Johnson finished in the top 100 at 91st with a final time of 18:23.21.
Landon Bendgen of Woodbine was the individual champion of the meet with a final time of 15:58.11.

IKM-Manning Girls, Stefi Beisswenger of Audubon and Class 1A Team Results
The IKM-Manning girls cross country team and Stefi Beisswenger of Audubon wrapped up their 2022 season by competing at the state cross country meet at Fort Dodge.
The Wolves qualified as a team with a second-place finish at their state qualifying meet at ACGC while Stefi Beisswenger qualified with a fourth-place finish at ACGC. At state cross country, the Wolves finished 11th overall with a time of 254. Earlham was the winner of the meet with a final team score of 101.
Taylor Beckendorf finished the best among IKM-Manning with a 69th place finish with a time of 21:29.10. Reagan Garrison finished 73rd overall finishing her season with a meet time of 21:31.20. Emily Albertsen finished her 2022 season with an 83rd finish at Fort Dodge with a time of 21:43.87. Julianna Stribe and Lauren Irlbeck finished close with each other at 99th and 102nd with times of 22:07.19 and 22:18.03 respectively.
Stefi Beisswenger rounded out a great 2022 season by representing the Audubon Wheelers at Fort Dodge well. She finished the state meet in 23rd place with a final time of 20:11.12.
Noelle Steines of Calamus-Wheatland was the individual champion of the meet with a final time of 18:39.45.

Class 2A State Cross Country Meet Results – South Central Calhoun Girls & East Sac Boys
South Central Calhoun Girls and Class 2A Team Results
Chloe Judisch and Iris Melody had two great performances at the State Cross Country Meet at Fort Dodge Friday afternoon. The two Titans qualified for the state meet with two top-15 performances at their qualifying meet at Shenandoah. Judisch finished fourth overall and Melody grabbed the final qualifying spot at 15th.
Judisch rounded out her 2022 season with a 20th-place performance in a time of 20:15.88. Melody was able to nab a personal record at the state meet, finishing 49th overall with a final time of 20:58.88. Danielle Hostetler was the individual champion of the meet with a final time of 18:41.64 and Van Meter was the team meet winner with a final team score of 111.

East Sac Boys Results and Class 2A Team Standings
Parker Engel and Landon Sporrer competed amongst the state’s best runners at the State Cross Country Meet in Fort Dodge Monday afternoon. At their state qualifying meet in Shenandoah, Engel was able to finish seventh overall and Sporrer grabbed the final qualifying spot finishing 15th overall.
At the state meet, Engel finished his 2022 season with a solid performance, finishing 57th overall with a final time of 17:43.78. Sporrer rounded out his season with a 78th-place finish at the state meet in a final time of 18:13.32.
Aaron Fynaardt of Des Moines Christian was the individual champion of the meet with a final time of 15:50.62. Des Moines Christian also won the meet as a team with a final score of 75.
