Girls Cross Country Results Tuesday, September 27th
Kuemper, IKM-Manning and South Central Calhoun At Denison Schleswig
IKM-Manning depth helped them finish in 5th place while Kuemper and South Central Calhoun had the top individual finishers Tuesday in Denison. The Wolves had 122 points, with three runners in the top 26 and all five runners in the top 33. The Knights were 7th overall with 182 points with their top two runners in the top 13 and their other three runners between 60th-70th place. South Central Calhoun only had three runners race so they didn’t post a team score but they did have one runner in the top 10 with their other two runners 56th and 60th.
Marie Dea of Kuemper was the top local finisher in 5th place as she continues her strong season. Dea ran a 20:50.96. Iris Melody of South Central Calhoun took 9th place, giving her another top 10 finish. She finished in 21:41.53. Julia Kanne continues to run well for Kuemper, finishing in 13th. Taylor Beckendorf led the Wolves for the second straight race, finishing 15th in 21:59.07, she was followed by Raegan Garrison who took 22nd for the Wolves, giving them two runners in the top 25.
