The match came down to the final 0:24 and in the final 0:10 Wuebker nearly got the escape he needed to tie the match and send it to overtime. The clock expired and the two officials discussed the final few seconds and didn’t award him a point, ending the match with Martin winning 1-0. Wuebker ends an amazing season 59-3.
