IKM-Manning fell in a non-conference matchup with Boyer Valley on Thursday. The Wolves started slow, and Boyer Valley followed, with the score in single digits for almost the entire first quarter. The Wolves would trail 10-7 after 1. The Wolves moved the ball well and knocked down plenty of shots, shooting 30% from 3 on the night. It was a 3-point lead for IKM-Manning going into the halftime break. Coming out of the break, Boyer Valley locked down defensively, got plenty of looks, and shot many free throws, traveling to the line 41 times. IKM-Manning would fall behind heading into the 4th. Coon Rapids-Bayard picked up a good out-of-conference win over ACGC on Thursday evening. The Crusaders jumped to #14 in the rankings this week and have played well. They continued that trend today with a huge first quarter. The Crusaders rolled to a 23-7 first-quarter lead. They would be outscored in the 2nd but remain ahead by 10, 31-21. After the break, the Crusaders pushed their lead once again. Defense and shooting were the main factors of the huge game, with 4 starters in double figures and Malia Clayburg having 6 blocks. The Crusaders were able to pick up a 65-40 win at home.

The Wildcats had a solid night on defense with 15 steals but the Spartans were able to maintain stability on offense to lead 33-18 at the halftime break. Glidden-Ralston tried to close the gap but Exira-EHk still had a 45-33 lead into the 4th. The Spartans pulled out a 66-45 win at home. Taryn Petersen led the Spartans with 25. Chloe Peters had 13 for the Wildcats.
