Carroll came out with energy in the 1st half, sharing the ball well offensively and deflecting a lot of passes on defense. They didn’t show any tired legs from the game on Monday, scoring 24-points in the 1st quarter while holding Bondurant Farrar to 8-points. The defense was sharp, deflecting several passes that they turned into steals. That allowed them to get some transition buckets, building a 45-20 lead at half. The tired legs maybe appeared in the 2nd half a Carroll struggled with turnovers and struggled to get a lot of stops against Bondurant Farrar. The guys stayed focused and battled through to earn the win.
Jared Mohr had a team high 18-points with 9 rebounds and 3 blocked shots while Mac Collison had 16-points with 4 assists. Trey Tassell contributed 14-points and 3 assists. Laul Tharjiath had another strong game with 13-points, 8 rebounds and 3 blocks. Jake Jorgensen added 5 assists and 4 steals.
The Tigers improved to 14-3 overall and head to Ballard on KIKD on Friday.

The Wheelers controlled the backboards, adjusted nicely on defense in the 2nd half, got another balanced scoring game and pulled away in the 2nd half to earn a nice home win. The 1st quarter went back and forth until the Wheelers took the lead for good at 13-10. It was a tight game the rest of the 1st half with the Wheelers leading 17-14 after the 1st quarter and 27-22 at half. A 14-3 run in the 3rd quarter gave them separation as they built an 20-point lead in the 4th quarter.
Brody Schultes gave Audubon a 2-0 and 10-8 lead in the 1st quarter as the game changed the lead on three straight baskets after Schultes put them up 2-0. There were three ties at 6, 8 and 10. Brody Weber did a nice job inside, tying the game with buckets at 6 and 8. Brody Schultes hit a big three later in the 1st quarter and the Wheelers were never tied again. Hi bucket gave them a 13-10 lead. Ryan Hermansen stretched the lead to 15-10, Jorgen Nowatzke moved it to 20-14 early in the 2nd quarter. A Brody Schultes three gave the Wheelers their largest lead of the half. The Bulldogs fought within 23-20 before Austin Christensen scored inside. Brody Schules scored to the half with Audubon up 27-22.
Aiden Kjergaard and Brody Schultes took over early in the 3rd as the Wheelers pushed the lead 43-26 late in the 3rd quarter but Riverside closed the quarter on a run, pulling within 43-31 on a 6-0 run. Brody Weber and Jorgen Nowatzke carried the offense in the 4th quarter as they staved off the Riverside run.
Brody Schultes had a team high 19-points, Brody Weber added 10-points and 9 rebounds and Aiden Kjergaard went for 13-points and 8 rebounds. Austin Christensen had 8-points and 7 rebounds, Carson Wessel had 9 rebounds and Sully McClain added 6 rebounds with Jorgan Nowatzke having 7-points.
The Wheelers moved to 10-8 and will head to CAM on Thursday.

Both teams battled hard in a key matchup in the Rolling Valley Conference as Coon Rapids Bayard continues to show their dominance in the league this season with Ar-We-Va fighting with CAM and Woodbine for 2nd place. The Crusaders led throughout the game but Ar-We-Va kept hanging around until late. Coon Rapids Bayard led 23-17 after the 1st quarter and were still up six at half at 39-33. The lead grew to nine heading into the final stanza where the Crusaders were able to distance themselves, locking down the Rockets offense. Coon Rapids Bayard held Ar-We-Va to 14-points in the 2nd half after allowing more than that in the both the 1st and 2nd quarter.
Cal Heydon had a big night and was tough to guard on Tuesday, finishing with 33-points and 7 rebounds. Ty Heydon had 10-points and 9 rebounds and Bryce Lewis added 11-points and 7 rebounds.
Wyatt Ragaller led the Rockets with 20-points with Derek Thomsen adding 13-points and 9 rebounds. Devon Ehlers had 7 rebounds and Tyson Von Glan pulled down 6 rebounds.
The Crusaders are 17-1 and will host ACGC on Thursday. Ar-We-Va slips to 13-7 and will host Paton Churdan on Monday.

Ben Ramsey became the all-time scoring leader in Manning and IKM-Manning history on Tuesday as the Wolves won another conference game, coming closer to clinching a 4th place finish in the league. Ramsey finished with 19-points, surpassing the record with his nineth point in the game. The Wolves were balanced in getting the win with Wyatt Danner adding 14-points, Isaac Blankman 12-points and Brock Kusel scoring 8-points. Ashton Ahrenholtz continues to work hard on the glass with 8 rebounds. IKM-Manning shared the ball well with Isaac Blankman, Wyatt Danner and Brock Kusel all having 4 assists.
The Wolves move to 10-7 overall and will host Boyer Valley on Thursday.

The Raiders recovered from a slow start in the 1st quarter to play pretty good basketball the rest of the game. They couldn’t get anything to fall early, trailing 14-2 at the end of the 1st quarter. They remained aggressive on offence and after falling down by 20, they rallied, pulling within 6 with 6:00 left. The early struggles returned down the stretch though they kept getting good looks by attacking the rim and staying aggressive. Zach Jacobsen and Beckem Kluver were really strong and played aggressively while Cade Bachman was steady at a guard spot. They did a nice job getting Greyson Rubendall the ball inside, creating a balanced offensive attack.
Zach Jacobsen paced the offense with 12-points with 3 assists, Beckem Kluver added 10-points and Grayson Rubendall had 6-points and 5 rebounds. Carson Schmitt added 5 rebounds.
The Raiders fell to 4-14 and will travel to SE Valley on Friday.

South Central Calhoun hosted Southeast Valley in a short road game on Tuesday evening. The Titans have been trending upward, sitting at 9-8 overall and 5-4 in the Twin Lakes Conference. Southeast Valley came in at 15-1 and had won 15 straight. Both teams came out swinging, as it was tied up early. Evan Myers had 12 of 12 for the Titans early and the Titans would lead much of the first quarter before going down one heading into the second quarter. In that second quarter, SCC turned the ball over and Southeast Valley thrived on it as they mounted a 17-2 run and a 24-4 quarter to lead by 21 at the halftime break. It was a close third, as neither was scoring as much. Southeast Valley would close out the game with a 79-50 victory. The Jaguars move to 16-1 while SCC falls to 9-9 on the season
