Kuemper and Madrid At Carroll
Carroll edged Kuemper and both slipped by Madrid at the Triangular on Thursday at Carroll. The Tigers held off Kuemper by 62-pins with Carroll finished with 2687-pins and Kuemper bowling a 2625-pins. Madrid ended the day with 2104-pins. Carroll finished the opening games with a 1769 with Kuemper bowling a 1691. Madrid trailed both after the regular games, bowling a 1375. Kuemper closed the gap on Carroll in the Baker Games, bowling a 934 to a 918 for Carroll. Both teams won two of the Baker Games with Madrid taking the other game. Kuemper started quickly, winning the first Baker Game 193 to 156 over Carroll and Madrid won the second Baker Game with a 166. Carroll rebounded to wins Baker Games three and four, bowling a 203 and a 199. Kuemper finished with a 176 in Baker Game 4 and a 190 in Baker Game 4. The Knights had their best Baker Game in game 5, bowling a 225. Carroll did enough to hold them off, bowling a 199.
