Audubon at Tri-Center Quad
Audubon went to the Tri-Center Quad on Tuesday evening. Clarinda and Southwest Iowa would be the two other squads there and the two that Audubon would square off with. The Wheelers came in getting ready for the biggest meet of the year in the state qualifying meet. The Wheelers would end up sweeping the night with a 47-22 win over Clarinda and a 50-6 win over Southwest Iowa. The Wheelers went 6-2 in matches wrestled against Clarinda with 5 of those wins coming by fall. Audubon would turn around and go 6-0 in matches wrestled against Southwest Iowa with a more diverse win profile of 3 falls, 2 tech falls and a major decision. Leyton Elmquist would go 2-0 with a fall and tech fall. Kayden Otten went 1-0 with a fall. Lane Elmquist, Jon Rasmussen and Ethan Haubrich all also went 2-0.

South Central Calhoun hosted GTRA, Southeast Valley, and Pocahontas Area on Tuesday evening. SCC has been hot recently and tonight was no different. The Titans would end up going 2-1 on the night. Their two wins were a 66-15 win over Pocahontas Area and a 54-29 victory over Southeast Valley. The Titans fell in their final duel 40-37 against GTRA. The Titans went 4-3 in matches wrestled against P-A with all 4 wins coming by fall. They would go 7-4 in matches wrestled against SEV with all 7 wins by fall also. They would go 5-6 against GTRA with 3 wins by fall, 1 major decision, and 1 decision win.
