The 4th ranked Knights earned their 11th win of the season, staying unbeaten against Hawkeye 10 Conference teams. The offense and defense both were sharp as Kuemper had 8 steals and 7 blocked shots. They continue to move the ball well with two guys scoring 20 or more points and five guy between 8-22 points. Kuemper had 19 assists on 29 made baskets. The Knights jumped out to a big lead, up 26-8 after the 1st quarter and 55-27 at half. They pushed the game into continuous clock in the 3rd quarter. Ryan Clair had a huge game with 22-points along with 12 rebounds. He added 3 assists. Griffin Glynn scored 20 points with 4 assists and 3 steals, Dylan Schon added 11-points, Jack Badding had 9 points with 2 blocked shots and Tanner Badding had 8 points.

The Knights are 11-3 and will  travel to Clarinda on Tuesday.

Ar-We-Va had a really strong defensive performance on the road, helping them pull away for a comfortable road win. The Rockets offense was good and made plays when they needed it to be. Ar-We-Va led 11-6 at the end of the 1st quarter and 24-10 at half. Alta-Aurelia was not able to make a run as the Rockets put the game away in the 3rd quarter.

Derek Thomsen had a very strong game with 24 points with 4 rebounds. Tyson Von Glad added 9 points and 7 rebounds, Devon Ehlers had 8 points and 6 rebounds. Wyatt Ragaller had 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals.

The Rockets improved to 10-5 overall and will travel to LoMa on Thursday.

Audubon snapped a two game losing streak with a nice win on the road. The Wheelers 59.6% from the field along with going 7-12 from three. Five different players hit a three with Jorgen Nowatzke and Aiden Kjergaard both making two. A big 2nd quarter was the difference as the Wheelers were up 19-14 at the end of the 1st quarter before erupting for 26 points in the 2nd quarter. Their lead grew to 45-22, helping them separate themselves from the Big Red. The 2nd half was nearly even with Missouri Valley outscoring the Wheelers 34-33.

Austin Christensen had a team  high 17 points with 7 rebounds while  Jorgen Nowatzke had 15 points along with 3 steals, Aiden Kjergaard had 14 points and Brody Schultes added 11 points along with 10 assists as he moved the ball really well, finding guys for baskets. Schultes added 3 steals. Carson Wessell added 12 points and 5 rebounds.

The Wheelers improved to 8-7 overall and will host IKM-Manning on Friday.

Glidden Ralston didn’t score for the first-four minutes of the game but found a way in the 2nd half to earn a nice win on the road. Dawson Majerus got them on the board, helping the Wildcats battle back from down 6-0 to lead 9-7 late in the 1st quarter. The 2nd quarter was similar to the 1st quarter. Ogden built a 16-9 lead but the Wildcats battled back with a 9-2 run to tie the game at 18 at half. Ogden opened the 3rd quarter on a 7-0 run and lead 25-18. Glidden Ralston rallied again, tying the game with 2:00 left in the 3rd quarter. The Wildcats extended their pressure and were able to create turnovers, turning into offense, helping them build a 39-34 after the 3rd quarter. The final stanza was back and forth with Glidden Ralston getting up 55-54 with 2:00 left. Landon Rohrbeck hit a big 3, late in the shot clock with 1:00 left in the game. The defense got several stops and they were able to salt the game away at the free throw line.

The Wildcats had a big game inside with Dawson Majerus scoring 20 points and Greyson Renze adding 14 points and 6 rebounds. Landon Rohrbeck finished with 8 points and 5 steals, Alex Daniel added 9 points and 8 rebounds and Blayce Nelson had 6 points and 6 rebounds.

The Wildcats improved to 3-11 on the season and will head to Boyer Valley on Tuesday.

Paton Churdan had to make a change to their lineup right before game time and did a nice job of fighting through adversity, battling back into the game several times. Damen Rice and Donavan Martin had strong games off the bench, helping the Rockets have one of their best performances this season. They trailed 16-9 at the end of the 1st quarter and trailed 39-29 at half. They made a nice run in the 3rd quarter, pulling within five heading to the final stanza.

Trevon Keely had a team high 20 points, Phoenix Hartman had 13 points and Damen Rice had 12 points. Donavan Martin added 8 points and 7 rebounds.

The Rockets fall to 4-10 overall and will host Woodward Academy on Thursday.
