Glenwood 37
The Kuemper Knights rolled on Friday night against Glenwood. The Knights sat at 2nd in the Hawkeye 10 and were undefeated in conference play. Kuemper closed the first quarter up 17-9. A ten-point gap in the second quarter allowed for Kuemper to play in the driver’s seat and very relaxed. Kuemper took a 35-17 lead into the halftime break. The Knights’ shooting ramped up as they would score 24 in the third. Kuemper closed out the 4th to pick up a 68-37 win on the road and remain undefeated in Hawkeye 10 conference play. Elsa Tiefenthaler led the Knights with 16 points, with Addy Anthofer adding 8 rebounds. The Knights travel to Harlan on Monday night.
