Carroll suffered a tough loss on Thursday at home in a close meet with OABCIG. The Tigers bowled a 1722 in the opening games, then bowled a 801 in the Baker games. The Falcons countered with a 1757 in the opening games to hold a small advantage heading into the Baker games. They stretched their lead with an 845 in the Baker games to top the Tigers by 79 pins. Carroll won the opening Baker game 147 to 126 but loss the next two falling 226 to 145 in game 3. They bounced back to win the final two Baker games 203 to 152 and 179 to 169 but it wasn’t enough to overcome the deficit.
Ethan Heisterkamp paced Carroll with a 179 in game 1 and a 209 in game two for a 388. Randy Bauer bowled a 212 and 161 for a 373, Drew Johnson had a 179 and a 165 for a 344 and Carroll had four guys in the 300’s with Lane Miller bowling a 188 and a 136 for a 324.
The Tigers host Valley on Monday.
